“Absolutely beautiful country and beautiful and welcoming family, the pad is a cosy spot but ample space for our 2 double swag set up 4wd and camp kitchen (we dont travel light) just down the bank, it is so beautiful here we booked for 2 days and we have decided to stay longer than originally planned and moved to a spot closer to “the loo with a view” and shelter as it rained first night, luxury comforts for camping… Couldnt find a better stop with more lovely people on the mid north coast and so close to Bello Urunga and Valla Beach. Doing a tour around the farm with Ben is well worth the adventure and excited for yoga withwith lovely Karen, this place is pure bliss!! 10/10 Also coming down from qld seeing my son see a pet rabbit he could pat for the first time… Priceless!!!”

” We had the chance to have our first helpX experience with Ben, Karen, Leela and Rani. They’re a lovely, somewhat busy family. But they will be sure to direct you to the best places in the region and possibly take you hiking in the bush. They know their environment very well (wildlife, plants, surfing and tourist places).
The property is fantastic and ideally located; very quiet in the middle of the bush, 15 minutes by car from the beach and the same from the nearest town where you can do your shopping.
The campervan is very comfortable for 2 people and its location (a few steps from the house) allowed us to observe the wildlife from inside. We had wallabies every day, kookaburras for clocks, possums at night…
The tasks were mainly for cleaning and gardening because the macadamia season had not yet started. The schedule is very flexible; you help 3 to 4 hours a day as you like. In addition, you can benefit from a day off to enjoy the surroundings.
Long story short; amazing location, real people, light and flexible hours
For us, it was like living the Australian dream!
